JOB SUMMARY:This is a Revenue Specialist II position in the Department of Revenue's Child Support Compliance/Administrative Action/Judicial Process. The incumbent will provide quality customer service and safeguard confidential information. Access and update information in the Child Support system. Initiate and respond to requests, coordinate with internal and external partners, research and resolve case issues and gather information. Interview customers face to face and/or over the telephone. Interact with customers, legal services providers, other states, employers and other business partners. Make decisions based on case information and documentation provided. Prepare cases, research information, attend and testify at hearings, update the computer system and meet with our customers before and after the hearings. Child Support team members are expected to follow Revenue's Standards of Conduct, model ethical behavior, and demonstrate our mission, vision and values in all activities. Team members will contribute to a working environment based on Revenue's values that is free of harassment or intimidation and that is conducive to a pleasant and productive atmosphere. + Experience processing information using a computer system;

+ Two years of experience conducting research and analyzing information to make decisions; *

+ Two years of experience communicating with customers for gathering information; *

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.


+ *College may substitute at a rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required experience.
