About The Opportunity

Job Purpose

Undergeneral supervision, responsible for performing a variety of duties includingemployment/recruitment, compensation/benefits administration, EEO/AffirmativeAction administration, HRIS administration, and employee relations.

Principal Accountabilities

Recruitment

* Performs employment/recruitment function for hourly and salaried workforce including:

* advertising, applicant screening, managing the interview process, checking references, extending offers, coordinating pre-employment physicals,applicant flow records, affirmative action recordkeeping

* maintaining ongoing contact with outreach (minority groups agencies) within the local community

* recruitment reporting and any other related duties to ensure fulfillment of employment needs in a cost effective and timely manner.

* maintainingcompany employee data base, applicant flow records, including data to be used for affirmative action records.

* Annually revises the company’s Affirmative Action Plan, coordinating content with all levels of management, including the analysis of data and establishment of annual goals. Provides quarterly updates to Directors. Coordinates government agency audit of Affirmative Action Plan.

* Schedule and conducts Company On-Boarding Program.

* Coordinates internal promotions and transfers of employees including administration of posting program.

Benefits

* Administers employee benefits programs such as retirement and healthcare plans; term life insurance plans and temporary disability programs.

* Conducts employee meetings and benefit seminars and arranges for enrollment of employees in plans.

Compensation

* Advises on appropriate salary offers to applicants based on qualifications, relative salaries in the plant, job market, and salary guidelines.

* Reviews all personnel change forms for completeness and timeliness, including verification of coding, salary grades and titles, proper authorization of and conformance to salary administration guidelines and sound salary administration practices.

General

* Conduct investigations into formal and informal employee complaints. Prepare written responses or claims received from outside parties.

* Administer the Company's human relations policies and procedures in a manner that provides fair and equitable treatment for all employees while ensuring optimum productivity and resource utilization.

* Utilize reporting tools to gather data and generate reports from multiple HR systems for key talent metrics and analysis; prepare charts and reports to display data and analysis in a visually compelling manner. Author an executive summary of data results for monthly reports.

* Key contact to provide assistance with HR applications, implementations, upgrades, and user training. Maintain the HR in-house management document system (includes maintaining restrictions, discipline while trouble shooting for managers and work with IT on improvements).

* Conduct periodic, comprehensive audits and analysis of employee data, ensuring data integrity and making appropriate corrections/updates when necessary.

* Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and/orcombination of 5 years equivalent experience in lieu of degree.

Experienceand Qualifications

* Minimum of three years Human Resources experience, with emphasis in recruitment, manufacturing experience preferred.

* Human Resources Internship will also be considered.

* Ability to interact with our diverse work force from general labor positions to our top senior management.

* Excellent PC skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
